In 1961, Irving Shulman opened a new kind of store in Elizabeth, NJ called Daffy Dan's Bargain Town. People would come from miles away to buy anything and everything at the most ridiculously low prices around. Who else would sell silver dollars for 88 cents?

Through the years, Daffy's became best known for being the first store to make Madison Avenue and European designer brands accessible to all consumers. Merchandise that made Daffy's shoppers feel and look like a million bucks without spending it. The bargains were incredible and the Daffy's legend grew.

Today, Daffy Dan's Bargain Town is known simply as Daffy's. Although we've grown substantially over the years, it remains a family run business.
